Corrosion Control
Optimum Inhibition
Controlling corrosion is a big challenge in the oil and gas industry. The application of proper and effective corrosion inhibition during the production is essential to enable long-term use of carbon steel materials in corrosive systems. This corrosive system environment is created mostly by the oxygen, acid gases such as CO 2 , H 2 S, and natural organic acids which are present in the produced fluids. Out of those, CO 2 (sweet corrosion) and H 2 S (sour corrosion) are the most common corrosives that challenge the oil and gas production.
CS OILFIELD offers both water soluble and oil soluble corrosion inhibitors as well as scavengers and biocides. From phosphate esters to imidazolines, dimer/ trimer acids to amine derivatives, our enhanced chemical portfolio can be confidently used in various conditions both in continuous injection and batch treatments.
