Wellbore Strength

Enhanced Integrity

Problems in wellbore stability occur for a variety of reasons and may result in hole caving, tight hole or hole erosion cause poor cement job, diculties in running casing and lost circulation. Wellbore instability may have negative outcomes as pack-o caused by poor hole cleaning, sidetracks due to dierential sticking and excessive non-productive time due to lack of performing special operations as logging operations.

CS OILFIELD suggests three dierent mechanisms to support wellbore by inhibiting pore pressure transmission: Ultra-low permeable mud cake, minimum drilling uid invasion by plugging the micropores and wide range of particle size distribution to enhance the quality of the mechanisms. These three mechanisms create a either a high-quality wellbore shielding or stress-cage barrier to provide maximum hole strength.

WHOLE BLACK

WHOLE BLACK

Multi-sized blend of high-quality wellbore strengthening materials gilsonite, lignite and carbon black in the uid phase of glycol and specially designed surfactant.

SHIELD X

SHIELD X

The blend of modied cellulosic polymers and surface activated organic solids aids in forming a thin, deformable shield.

SEAL GX

SEAL GX

Angular shaped, pressure-sensitive synthetic graphite with high resiliency. Controls lost circulation, provides solid lubrication and reduces torque/drag.

BRIDGE CX

BRIDGE CX

High purity, acid soluble sized calcium carbonates used as bridging material. Specially sized structure limits the losses and improved bridging compared to conventional calcium carbonates.
