The stability of clay-rich shales is aected by their complex physical and chemical interactions with drilling uids. It is known that shale – uid interactions can be manipulated to enhance cuttings and wellbore stabilization as well as improving hole-making ability in shale formations.

POLYAMINE
POLYAMINE shale inhibitor reduce the interlayer space of hydrated clay to prevent swelling and hydrations. Their chemical structure reduces hydration repulsion, which lowers clays hydration tendency as per the clay structure.
DRILL CAP X
Acrylamide copolymer with relatively lower molecular weight. Specially designed to provide high encapsulation to eliminate shale dispersion without causing excessive rheology.
Q-DRILL
Special blend of surface-active agents formulated to increase the Rate of Penetration (ROP) by reducing the accretion on the bit.
